About us
The Blues Society of Northwest Florida is dedicated to bridging the gap and making Pensacola a destination tour spot for all touring blues musicians. We are keeping the blues alive in our area in many different ways. Check out our site for information where you can hear local and national acts in our area.
Chase away the Monday Blues with the Blues Society of Northwest Florida. Join us at The Gutter Lounge each Monday night from 7:30 - 10:30 for an open jam. The Gutter is located inside New Liberty Lanes at Palafox & Fairfield.
Started by Slim Richardson, this tradition has been alive and well in Pensacola for over 4 years now. Help keep the blues alive by coming out and enjoying some of our area's best musicians, or bring your gear and get up and jam with us!
Each week has a different host band. You never know who will pop up and sit in from week to week. The Gutter Lounge also offers specials for everyone during the jam. $1 Draft Miller Lite & Yuengling and $6 pitchers of the same!
Every Saturday night, tune in to WUWF 88.1FM. Greg Guzman is serving up the best blues around on his show "The Blue Plate Special". Greg is currently celebrating 10 years of keeping the blues alive. Each Saturday night from 10p - 12a, turn that dial to 88.1 and catch the best blues program on the Gulf Coast. If you're not in our area, they stream it live via their website for everyone across the globe to hear. Click WUWF to tune in!
